I've had an idea for a while now to make a long track pararail. Gates made the tracks for Scorp, JD, chapparal., etc. They made an 18"wide track at the same length as a 15" Scorpion track. (I've done this and shortened a Stinger III) I was alwas wondering if they made a 15" wide track at the same length as an 18" Scorpion track?? Now I'd like to do the opposite. Make sense? Anyone know of any other makes that had a track like this?

Royal distributing carries a camoplast track for the scorpion,JD,Chapparal. They say it is a 121x15x2.52. I can't find anything that says clearly what our 80 whip is for track length or pitch. Kerry

16 inch wide, 3.29 pitch... and I'm guessing 118 long... I measured it once but can't remember

There is a thread on VS about bogey tracks. A guy says he has 15x126 2.52 bogey tracks. We can't figure out what they are for. vintagesleds.com/bs/index.php/topic,256921.0.html

Yes that may be what I'm looking for. I couldn't find it by clicking on your link but I'll look when I have more time. I'm just alwas trying to come up with combos that no one has tried before. A long track like that may have some good traction for a ice racer when fully studded. Not sure about grass drag?
