I wish this was a Scorp..........  BUT its not!! Its a 71 Hirth powered sled.I won't bore you,with lots of pics.One is enough.Yes,I am still building "fun" sleds.I think the color scheme,will be:red,white & blue. Yes,thats water in the driveway,been raining ALL day!!! |

I started with a "bare" tunnel,adding the parts I wanted along the way. Chaparral track,AC front drivers,NOS Whip skis,Bolens speedometer,modified 70 Rupp JLO 440 exhaust,modified Rupp bogie wheel suspension,the list goes on & on. So far,I'm happy with the way it's turning out. It has taken 10 months to get it this far,working on it when I can. It should be a good runner.

Man, I love shit like that! Where did the Hirth come from ? Is that a Rupp chassis ?

Me to,thats why I build stuff like this.Hirth came from a swap meet,no idea what brand sled its out of.Answer to last question is yes.I know this site is for Scorpions,but it was kinda slow here,so I thought I'd put this in.A sled is a sled,is a sled.......
