I've converted my 77 Sting w/paraslide to a rubber track from a 80 Sting. The 77 was 118" and the 80 is 116". With that 2" difference, should I drill new rear mounting holes 2" forward? or how would I figure out the proper mounting location? Thanks

Hello stinger440. With a 2" shorter track, the rear idler wheels need to be 1" forward from the original track (that reduces the track length by 2"...1'' from top and 1" from bottom). Your idlers should be able to move forward enough to accommodate.

That makes sense 80Sting. I'll look at it. This is a little bit of a hodge podge of parts. I am using original 77 rails, shortened to the same length of an 80 sting. I had to widen the rail centers, used the 77 rear hanger(like the pararail) and larger rear idlers due to changing from cleated to rubber. The drive sprockets just barely fit in the tunnel due to the width
