I'm getting more confused about my Mark IV! The data plate starts with 1 meaning it could be a 1971? The bullet nose red metal flake cowl seems to indicate a 1970. When I try to register it on this site, they will only allow it as a 1969 model. Anyone have any ideas?

It seams like we have had this debate before, and concluded that those numbers do not give a good clue.
About all you can do is look at old manuals and sales brochures to see what they made or advertised in certain years.
All my old stuff, I get close, and then just call it whatever I like. Usually if appears to be a 1970 or 71, I call it a 69. Leave it up to the next guy to prove you wrong.
You have a cool sled there, what motor, can you post more pics.

This is one I call Free air Bubble, I call it a 1969 Bandido, 1 of 1 ever made factory prototype racer! It is actually a 71 wedge chassis converted to a Bubble, with a old chopped up JLO I had it at a show and labeled it 69 Bandido, nobody questioned me ? Attachments:

I can't find information on this sled at all. Only a few picture show up on a Google search or this forum. I'm hoping to take some fresh picture this week... if we ever see the sun! It snowed yesterday, so I'll be riding it today. It has the big 634 Hirth engine with perfect compression.

Weverat...I just rode mine around and took pictures of it. I have to figure out how to put up 6 pictures next. I'll put them in the Photo section.

The easy way to add a pic is:
Start with reply, NOT QUICK REPLY
Then there is a button at top right of screen called "Add Attachment"
You can simply grab a photo from a file on your confuser and click Attach
These photos show up kind off small, but if you click on the pic it gets bigger.
When you guys post pics of your sleds in the garage, I blow them way up, and look around to see what other cool shit you have in the back ground! Then I comment on that stuff.
Man I love Junk
