I just picked this sled up in a barter. I think it's a 72, based on the hood, and serial # on the tunnel. It has the newer style backrest, not like the 71's. It came with a CCW 400 piston port motor and it looks like someone did a better than average amatuer restoration on it. Seat and seat back are great (black). I'd like to know if this is a super or just a plain stinger, 15 inch track, and does have pararail...I was surprised!! Any comments are appreciated, I'll get some pics up later on.

I would guess it is a 1972 Stinger 400 (not Super Stinger) with a 1973 Pararail suspension.

yeah, I just put a magnet on the pararail rails and no stick....darn, thought I had a rare one....still a nice sled, But I think I'll be trading/selling it, have enough projects and I prefer the Jlo/cuyuna motors.
