I don't quite remember how I put it together, I do however remember switching up cuss words...that always helps. Try using a C clamp and or carpenter's adjustable clamps. I don't often get bleeding knuckles any more, but I sure did that time!

Rick, the real trophy there isn't in your hand but rather on your arm!
See you guys at the show.

Hi Ken.
The stock shock size is 9" closed and 13'5" open. I don't remember the exact specs, but it very close from what I do remember. I've tested it and the suspension has full range of motion with this new spring and shock set. Call Dr. Mario and see if he still has some. He's a good guy to deal with.
I had the sled out on the river a few days ago and was impressed how it performs, considering the limited travel.

"Acetylene...peaceful?? Not mine! Pop, pow, etc"
Go down one size on your torch tip and increase your pressures. That way, when the molten steel spits up, the extra gas pressure pushes it away ...it'll be a zen moment for you. Now say it, hummmm....

I go to any local snowmobile shop and order from their aftermarket Sun n Sno catalog. Ebay also has them at times. I usually buy a complete Winderosa gasket and seal set. I don't trust an engine unless I take it all apart...I'm sort of ocd that way.

Looking good Racer. Where did you find this one? I actually prefer welding old school with oxy/acet torches. I find it quite peaceful and mesmerizing...kinda like watching a lava lamp...

I got it from Dr Mario who has an add in the V.S. classifieds. He sells mostly Polaris stuff. This is an aftermarket spring/shock combo which happens to fit well on my Sting! 1-920-743-7660 Ask for Don.

I've perfected "flying" my sleds like that too...it just that I must not have set my landing gear down properly...my landings haven't always been as successful

Is it a 36 mm carb?
That may also be part of a power jet system???
Now, not only do you have to rejet the main, you'll need to replace the needle jet and jet needle!...having fun yet?
