It appears as if a guy found a narrow track 71 Super Stinger at a scrapper. Check it out and tell me if I am correct. The lucky guy! vintagesleds.com/bs/index.php/topic,66700.0.html

Yes I saw that also. A lot of "little" things incorrect/added but I think it's a Super.

Per stingerIII,Yes that is a 1971 Scorpion Superstinger(narrow track model) ,they were factory racers. Superstinger= handlebar Superstinger= foot stirups Superstinger= rear bumper and as ddub noticed the exhaust mounts and the front chassis is widened with a metal fuel tank That is one nice find my 71 Superstinger(narrow track) has a 440 ccw f/a ,it also has Alberta plates on it. It should have a slider suspension under it from factory but they were weak and were changed out to the bogie systems (the bogies are mounted backwards)but the mounting holes are still there for the Superstinger slider suspension. vintagesleds.com/bs/index.php/topic,66700.0.html

Those original guages are very rare and if those are in good shape could be worth some good money. The gauges are about the only thing for them that is not being reproduced. Those skis are pretty hard to find too. I picked up a 75 super stinger parts sled last summer and was excited to see that it had skis like that on it. Unfortunately some one must have drove down a tar road for a hundred miles with no wear bars on! damn! Just when ya think them supers are all scooped up on. Ya never Know what might come along.
