I just recieved the grips from www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Biemme-Grips on E-bay. They do not look like the photo and do not have an external anti-vibration feature. The white rings are easily removed however. I like them but are not what I expected. Can you post a picture of what you actually received? Thank you.

I'm the new guy here so I don't know how to post a pic yet but my first scorpion I bought that started this whole addiction was a 70 mark 3 400. Old guy swore it was all original and it has red grips, red snowflap, and a 400 ccw. I'll try to post a pic later.

I've learned to never say never where the variations of Scorpion builds are concerned. My logical part says: "red flap on a 70"? "I thought the grips were black on a 70' Mark" However, these things show up from time to time. This thread on how to post photos might be of assistance to you, www.scorpionsleds.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=7Glad to have you!

I like those black ones better than the red ones.

Now we'll compare the black grips I pulled off my 70' to those red grips on the 70' we talked about above. I was wondering if those red grips on the 70' were OEM correct for the year. If we assume the black grips I just pulled off my 70' are OEM and compare them to the red grips shown in the photo on the other 70' model, they do look like the same design, Notice how I had to take the photos of my black grips with the most awesome cool background I could find. So, again, perhaps it was only the 70' models with Kohler engines, built on Fridays, after lunch, that got the red grips! I believe those black grips are the exact ones we need for the make a wish sled. That would mean they are correct for a 1970 stinger. Anyone have a good set ? Also, I have never ordered any of the ones on ebay with the white insert, so I don't know if it comes out. I do know someone who has some sets of NOS original red sparkly grips if someone needs them for a restoration. They are not cheap though, so probably not what you want for rider

scorp11, I have the set shown in the photo. They would need to be installed with some handlegrip glue as they are were too loose on my handlebars.
Send me a PM-Private Message or post the mailing address you want them sent to if interested for the Charity Build.
