I was wondering if anyone has done clever headlight conversions. Trying to think of a way to get better light without spending a lot or changing the look. I can get a replacement a7030 bulb and keep it original but I would like more light. With only 60w to work with what are the options? Halogen? Change to LED?

I've been looking into this as well. Specifically with a '72 Stinger II 400CCW. The headlight is really dim compared to other sleds of that vintage.
I was focusing on the lighting coil, trying to find one with better output. There is a later model 400 CCW with the Kokusan ignition that has a 120W lighting coil compared to my 75W. I have had no luck finding one however.
More questions than answers at this point.

I was thinking of getting a LED fog light and modifing it to fit. Led should put out more light per watt.
