Hello All,
I am tryin to turn my secondary the 1/3 turn before placing on snapring. As I turn it it will pop off the holders. The spring looks like it has its orig right angles... And the holder is a bit worn- but looks like it should hold the spring... Am I doing something wrong? I get almost all the way to the 1/3 and every time it pops off the holders... There's no paint on it- so who knows if it's even orig...

I don't quite remember how I put it together, I do however remember switching up cuss words...that always helps. Try using a C clamp and or carpenter's adjustable clamps. I don't often get bleeding knuckles any more, but I sure did that time!

Ok... I got it- took a break- came back to it - and got it on the first try.... then.. I flooded the hell out of it... Must have primed it too much.. Crank case was full of fuel. So... Jacked up the front end - pulled plug and pulse line- pulled over until not much is coming out anymore.... And I'll give her hell tom pm after work.
After rebuild - this is my first attempt at starting. Compression is 108 in each- getting good spark- wish me luck.
