74 widetracks seem to be pretty rare and hard to find. To my Knowledge they were never sold to the public and were mostly sold as work machines or service sleds. Does anybody know about these sleds? I used to ride one as a kid that was from my grampas dealership in Mora MN.

I seem to remember that they were extremely rare. If you have one I wouldn't sell it to anybody for any price!!!!
My father had one and he could pull up to a snowmobile that was stuck in the deep snow, help him get it un-stuck and then simply drive away!
The seat was so long that we could ride three adults in an emergency and still tow a broken sled! Easily!
That thing was suprisingly fast on hard pack, keep up easily with most sleds. Never very far behind on trail rides even with the fastest bunch of riders.
I drove my kids around on that sled and we had a ball!! Climbed hills (with me and my two sons on board) that others wouldn't dare tackle.

There is a nice 1 here in Star Prairie. 440 rockwell and a black wide track racing seat like on the 71 super stinger. Boggie wheel suspension. Red hood with the black grills in it. I think the seat alone would be highly sought after!
