Raj where you from. If your by mn there is a 72 stinger III on Mn craigslist located in swanville mn for $100. Looks like its rusted out good under the seat. So I personally would have no problem guttuing the entire suspension out of it and using it as a donor. However I have no ideal what condition the track is in since he's got no pictures of it. For that price may be worth checking out. Otherwise keep paitcent and keep hitting up swap meets. There out there its hard to find guys who may want to sell this stuff if they got it.

Thanks whip I am located in central British Columbia so it's limited for me for swap meets and vintage events. If some one could give me a window count on the track it would go a long way for locating an alternate track and skid. I would like to eventually put it back to stock. I have 5 vintage sleds this by far is the coolest of the bunch. Thanks

The best thing to do is find a complete driveline from a 71-73 Stinger III. That means drive shaft, bogeys rear axle and track. These are the 18" wide track sleds. The track length is 128" As far as I know there is no other sled that used this length track.

I agree with stinger440 on this. I'm not sure if there is a other manufacturers track that can be used. If your going to go through the work of this might as well do the stinger III swap. You dont have to do any hacking on your sled. There is a post on here somewhere that tells u how to do it. Look at my posting in the for sale and wanted. Under the mark III for sale. That sled has had this done to it. And its all scorpion parts. That's why I posted that all the work has been done to it. My hands are full with my current sleds or I would buy it. Anyway if your looking for a good original track. I wish you luck I have my doubt's you will find one.

Thanks for the good info guys. I found a 70 mark 3 in decent shape for $300. Only 3 hours away. You can probably guest the track condition, it has a 6" tear and can not be used. CRAP so I am back to square one. I will pick it up for a parts sled. This may be unrealistic, but I know there is rubber repair products out there. Anyone with experience using them. This sled will not see a lot of miles in a year. Thanks
