It's the "All-American" series. I have a brochure for that.

74 was the last wide track. Same sled I grew up on. Not too many of those around.

Thanks for the info!
I thought I was in the twilight zone trying to find another photo of this hood to identify the year. I do not see it in any of the online photos and brochures for 1974 or any other year. It appears this 1974 WT hood is different than the non WT hoods!
Checkout the 1974 line here. No WT sled with the gas cap lid is shown here! The front center of the WT hood is very different.

admin. that broucher you have the picture of is the super stingers. you would have to look up the stingers to get a picture of that hood. the 74 stingers were made to use up all the left over 73 parts they had.

Still cannot find a Stinger brochure or spec sheet. Maybe they did not advertise/promote them due to limited quantities from leftover 1973 parts as oldscorpman mentioned. Found this page of super stingers with the spec sheet that is pretty cool though, www.vintagesnowmobiles.50megs.com/PP16242.html

This model was a carry over 1973 models with the hood changed out on them, in Canada where we are the brochure only showed the 1974 Super Stinger range. The only information I have on these models is found in the 1974 owners manual which shows both model ranges.

also the 74 stinger, the hood you are asking about was featured in the ISIA 1974 show, the pictures featured on the vintage sleds site(somewhere), showed the 74 super Stinger and the 74 Stinger, as well as the 75 Whip and lilWhip
that hood is designed for more efficient cooling, a issue with the 73's with their copious amounts of sound deadening.
