Little white sticker on hood makes me think this was one of Corzine's Kamakazi's.

Man its way to quiet on here! I know you guy,s have some BS for me.
What about the grass drag season, when and where is the first event? Who is building what?
I have a 400 Sting for the D @ E class, also a 71 wedge with a 440 4 bolt for the 71 and older class, maybe run it in E or F, does it qualify for F ?
By the way, that is Roger on the #246 Free Air Bubble exposed clutch sled, back me up on this OBJ.
Jim and I ran the drags at Okoboji two weeks ago, and The Jack in Clear Lake last weekend. Sleds ran good!, dam good racing!
Today I pickled 4 sleds and put them back on the shelf, still have a few in the garage, but we have one more event March 12th at Elephant Lake. I bring a different sled up there every year, usually a Scorp! Thinking about campaigning the Sting this year?

Yep Weverat way too quiet. Not much going on here in star prairie. Trying to get up enough nerve to take one of these cuyunas apart. Good luck at elephant lake. I have a cabin not too far from there. Havent been there in years. I used to ride a 75 superstinger in there to fish. Then run out to melgeorges for a burger.

The race is at Melgeorges, always a good time. Even up there the snow is normally almost gone by mid March. The racing is on the lake, often with 6 inches of water on top. Other years we have had 3 feet of snow.
The legendary Bob Rainy always shows up with some nice Scorps. The racing is more of a play day for trail sleds. No studs allowed in all but one class. We like to bring trail sleds, ride trails and race the same weekend.
A few years ago we had so much fun trail riding that I ran out of gas on race day, half way down the drag strip!
Anyhow, there is a Rupp in my shop, I am not happy, but at least the dam thing is red.

Ok so the damm Rupp needs a clutch, we slipped a 102 on there and it hits the steering.
We found a quick shift (same as a power thrust) that will fit but it is set up for a 1 3/8" belt, so I guess we have to take it apart and play with the shims to make it fit a narrow belt.
I just want to work on Scorps and Yamees! Absolutely no Cats, I am drawing the line on Cats and John Deers.
Them John Deers are ugly and they run like shit. The only thing you can do with a John Deer is harvest the track for a scorp.

" Trying to get up enough nerve to take one of these cuyunas apart"
OBJ, I am assuming you want to take one apart just to look? Kinda like those clutches.
Upon assembly there is no need for any type of grinders or sanders right?

You need to come to S. P. Sometime and we'll assemble a few cuyunas. Or we can set up a test day as well.
