Gathering parts for my '77 Range Whip Sting. Still need some under hood stuff, and a place that can do a seat cover.

Sorry about the Rupp, the Scorpion isn't photo worthy yet.

I just got a couple gasket and seal kits for my 440 Cuyunas. I haven't done much else with the sleds. Concentrating on getting my 67 Camaro looking like a car again.

Been working on ALL my shelf engines, new crank seals, cleaning all grime/grease/oil off them, getting spark & timing some of them.I'm doing a Sachs 440 now, then off to the LAST Tohatsu 440[will convert ignition to points, from CDI!! NO extra CDI boxes for it]. Points will work just fine.

I was second guessing myself working on a scorpion on a 65 degree day.

Nice Rupp? This is the Scorp blog site, you are supposed to be enamored by the Sting, but you guy's have stings, TK,s, Bubbles, and all sorts of cool stuff. so I suppose a pic of the Rupp is ok.
If you click on the pics, they get bigger. then you can see the ice road which has been plowed for about 15 miles all the way across the lake. It is like a highway. You guy's from up North see this all the time, but us Southern dwellers rarely see anything like that! We were so lacking for ice this year that two our best ice drag events were cancelled (Waconia & Waseca).
A bunch of us have been talking about converting our ice racers to grass.

Elephant Lake, and Kabetogama. We were able to travel on the snow next to the ice road all the way to Namekan (15 miles) If you wanted to go faster just drive on the ice. The ice was pretty slippery, and we did not have studs or carbide, so we tried to stay on the snow. Couldn't help myself after seeing that pic. I think rupps and scorps look really good side by side! The whip is now in the process of getting a new seat cover and over the summer the drive and pararail are gonna get some paint and bearing work.Hoping to form the windshield more to flatten the top too.
