What do you guys think. I am going to stud this track, want to use it because I would say its not for a show sled or for a good rider. where my thumb is there is a hole. this is the only bad area on this track, and it would not break my heart to stud the hell outa it or am i wasting my time as it may tear apart as soon as i start running it. Im only going to run a single sachs on it so not to much hp.

I think I would put a "good" track in,then stud it. If you weren't going to stud it,I would run it. I've run alot worse tracks than that,in my Rupps;one of my worst tracks, lasted 4 years with a Sachs single 297.I usually run them, till they fly out the back of sled. Don't kid yourself, those Sachs singles run quite well, even tho they only put out 18hp or so.

stud it and run it. Just skip that spot/bar. Those tracks are really soft/flexible so make sure you have good backers. I like using double backers and bender plates on mine. I've never had a pull out or torn track in 4 years of ice ovals and I'm sure some of my tracks were no better than that.

I wish I had a little better track, but this is a 70 stinger track and the only one I got so i kinda got to use it so i can use the boggie assemblies and the offset track drivers that are off this sled. I just wanted to know if anyone has used a track in this condition before. Im going to use this for a relic. thanks for the input guys I cant wait to get this one going
