Hi we have a 79 Whip, and trying to get running. The 440 Cuyna engine, has been timed, has good compression, good spark, Walbro carb cleaned with new gaskets. 2 - 3 pulls and engine is flooded, plugs are wet, and gas running out the exhaust.
What are doing wrong?

Walbro WF.docx (159.81 KB) Walbro WF.docx (159.81 KB) Walbro WF.docx (159.81 KB) Is it a Walbro WF I tried to post a picture of the needle and seat, but you can google Walbro WF diagram. You will see there is a small rubber gasket below the needle seat. Often stuck to the carb body when you remove the seat. Then when cleaning the carb body with compressed air etc, it gets lost.

Weverat - yes it’s a Walboro WF, we have 2 carbs that we’re messing with, one with a o-ring, one with a rubber tipped needle valve. Tried both.
