I can't say I've ever seen a 1971 Stinger II using the 1972 chassis and hood! What is up with this? The seat and backrest, and bumper, are 1971! The hood is the redesigned 1972 version. What's up here folks? Did someone actually install a 1971 Stinger II rear bumper, backrest and seat on to this 1972 Chassis? OR, is this a one off 1972 factory release that was built before the new seats were ready? ;D

That's they way all the 1972 Stinger 11 340's were that I've ever seen, even in the 72 brochure they had the 71 style seat.

I just noticed I forgot to add the link to the ad, fingerlakes.craigslist.org/rvs/3456987214.html*1971 Scorpion Stinger II* with 293cc Sachs. Sled is complete except for windshield and muffler, has spark and compression. Track is good. Runs off the bottle. $175.00

these were the only 72's that had chrome handlebars. Hard to find those bars.
