I'll stick to the scorpion pics. I spent a fair amount of time talking with former Scorpion racer / engineers. Learned a ton. Anyway, here's some pics. At some point I'll try to post some of the more interesting stuff I learned.

These were the sleds used to start the testing on the Bullwhip motor. Les Pinz brought them and they had just finished them up. The underhood stuff on these are really cool
The leaf spring is the suspension on this sled. And it is aluminum !!
There were a bunch of the sno pro sleds there from 79-81.
It was an interesting ride home. You know they say most wrecks happen a mile from home. Well its true! But even more interesting was hooking up the air sled to Deb Harrison's mini van. No tongue weight at all. I was worried for her with the bad roads. I was right behind her all the way to 494. she did a great job! Hope the rest of the trip went ok for her.
