bummed out. found out Bubbanozes sled is a 440. We're going to have to find another 400. Lookin forward to run in the 400 class. I dropped about 15-20 lbs off my fat ass this summer. hope it helps get me down the track a little faster!! We are talkin about going to a race in or around Pequot lakes instead of the BS at Duluth. We will definatly be at Princeton. Scorp11, you should get out there with us.

Yeh I've already been biten and I can see where it leads by looking at you guys. I dont see anything wrong with it. . Cant wait to race with you guys! Went out to palos place and picked up a 400 yesterday. Hes only an hour away from my cabin. Bummer! I'd like to be ready for willow river but thats guna take some work. Definitely be at Princeton. And I agree with pararailer that the BS at Duluth was to much. Theres a good race in brainerd on Sept. 14. I went to watch last year and it looks like a nice track. I have a question about the classes. In Princeton it looks like 400 and 440 race together. Am I reading it right?

Princeton and Willow use letter classes. The 400's mostly run "F" class. 400 range whips are bumped into "E". The 440 super stingers run "E". The 79' and 80' TK's are in "D" stock and that is a very tough class. Mercury twisters and Rupp nitros. We had 4 tk's there last year and didn't make the final! In my opinion, the TK's should run with the super stingers in "E". You can find a link to the letter class info on the rum river outlaw site. if you cant find it call me. 715-248-7395.

ok I get it. so the aluminum chassis goes up a class. and I think your right about the tks. they had the 440 supers running with the tks in Duluth last year. my super was doing pretty good against them. just as long as I get to race pararailer and kick his butt, all is good.

The 340 TK's will run in the F class, and the Whip 400 is a F class sled as well
we will be focusing on our F class sleds next year in our location, we have 3 Whip 400's(one with electric start), 2 TK 340's, '74 Super Stinger 400, '72 Stinger II 400, '71 Stinger III 440, and a '76 Massey Cyclone 340.
Our biggest issue will be getting enough drivers and trailer space to move the sleds, right now we can only move 3 to the races, and will likely focus on the Moose Jaw race, and may consider the Earl Grey race.
So when we decide, we will be taking the 3 quickest of out F class sleds, also track conditions may determine what we take, packed snow or ice, we only have 2 set up to handle ice (no grass here, for some reason only a handful of people are interested in grass)
WE would love to race on Grass here, but there are no current races set up, and when they did have one they went the I,II,II,IV classes, that was 3 years ago for vintage, we did not race, but probably should have as it was only a 500 foot race, and nothing was really set up for grass, all sliders. there is a chance that Richard of the Roll-o-flex reunion might be talked into setting up a grass race next year for the reunion(roll-o-flex are good for grass as well, that flexion suspension is very similar to the para rail) , if that is the case, we will flood it with Scorpions, it is also close enough we can shuttle sleds back and forth, the only limiting factor then would be drivers

We needed a 400cc sled to try and run with pararailer and bubanoz so I had this engine I got with a sled from pararailer. Thought we should take it apart and make sure its all "stock". ya know he likes to mod everything!

yep screamer! key word in your sentence is WAS! Craig Matthys ran it in a WT this winter and blew it up. He has been hard on engines! He says he hates rockwell/jlo/cuyuna however he does have the most trophys and dosent complain about them when he's kissin the trophy girl! We'll get it back running though. See ya on the grass!!
