is the seat bolted or is there clips to slide the seat off I cant tell. I cant see because of the track

It has 4 tabs welded to the top of the tunnel and the bottom of the seat has holes cut in the wood that the tabs hook into. It should slide back but the backrest may need to come off first.

ok thanks for the info I was going to take the backrest off anyways so I will do that first I want to paint the tunnel but I don't have to take the track off because it is great shape under the tunnel it was in a barn for years you could tell it smelled like pig crap it is in good shape every thing is there it is a 440 jlo I already rebuild the carb and had it running everything is apart except the backrest and the seat so thanks again much appreciated

The red seats are also bolted on at the rear of the seat.

my bad, there are bolts on the rear. I was thinkin about the 71's that have 4 clips. the red seats have clips in front bolts in rear.
