well ive been trying to find specs for my 75 2f-400-8 with the 6 bolt head. all I find is for the -3 and -4 and -6's with the 4 bolt heads. is the timing and torc specs the same between the two. and is the 400 and 440 the same. and what is the correct timing b.t.d.c.?

yep. that's what he told me makes him go so fast. time em with an hour glass and a sun dial.

I don't know that I've seen different timing specs between the two. torque specs for the heads are definitely different. Timing for the later 6 bolts are .102 to .112 BTDC. I think torque specs for those are 16-18 ft lbs. 4 bolts are more but I'd have find my book to look them up. Obj1 probably knows those off the top of his head if he hasn't been drinking Chuba apple pie

thanks scorp11. I was thinking that timing would be close to the same. and torque is a little less. feed obj1 that pie and he'll start talking.
