Hi everyone just got started on this scorpion!!! was wondering if anyone can help identify this sled?? I collect the mid to late 70's scorpions..have little knowledge on the bubble nose era...

yes it has a hinge but it also has a vent only on one side... it has a 293 sachs with a single ring piston...i guess someone added the hood vent..

check out the pizza cutters!! i think this will be a fun resto..i got the gas tank cleaned out today,, next weekend comes the track..hope a 72 track with boogies from a 71 works??

x2. . I looked at your original pic and the serial number looks like it starts 032. The 0 first number indicates 1970 as well.

thanks scorp11!! I wounder i this sled had track time in stock class back in the day... there are tall tail signs all over it.. I live out west and this sled was found in north idaho....western race country... any good tips ?
