Please help need 340tk carburetor

I am in desperate need of a working carb for a 1980 340tk.i can't find one anywhere.the sled is for my nephew and he just wants to ride before the snow is gone.

It had a mikuni butterfly carb on it but the needle or is it jet was rotted and I am no mechanic.i can change parts all day but knowing interchangeability among carbs from other makes and models is beyond me.any help would be greatly appreciated

did the old carb work? you don't need to ba a mechanic to change a few carb parts and clean it up
should be able to do some research to figure out the model of the carb and then find a parts diagram on line. it is usually obvious where they are gunked up, once you get them apart.  here is one place to get parts:

I put a Mikuni VM 34 on my 340 whip, that works great, so thats an option too, but there was some work to do to get the right flanges etc.
