Kevin, Interesting little tid bit.
They list it as having a plastic tank. It doesn't. It has a steel tank.
In another thread we had come to a conclusion (correct or not) that the sachs equipped sleds had a steel tank.

I think there must have been CCW's with a steel Tank. My Dad and uncle bought two 71 Stinger III's from the factory, right off the line. They were identical except for the motor. One was a 440 sachs, one a 440 ccw. Both had steel tanks. Maybe they changed along the way ?
Plus the promotional literature isn't always completely accurate. Look at the pics some time and you will see a lot of things that are different than the production sleds.

A steel tank with a ccw??? from the factory??? Never seen one stock, but I have made one. or two.....
