just tore into my 73 ccw 400 rv engine as i am now starting a full blown resto on this sled and the pto side piston is junk. i know that these are next to imposable to find. i was able to find and purchase 2 nos right side pistons after only 20 minutes of on-line searching, but after 2 days i have yet to find any left side pistons. the part numbers are 37640000 for a complete kit or 37000600 for just the piston. my email is 7oldcadman@aol.com. take the 7 out of the email lots of spammers lately.
thank you rick

I have just began a 72' scorpion stinger II rebuild. It has a ccw 400 engine and I am trying to locate oversized pistons because the cylinders need to be bored at least 10 over. I have found many pistons for the later used reed valve engines but this is a piston port version. If anyone knows where I can get oversized pistons and rings or OEM replacement cyclinders and OEM pistons, it would be greatly appreciated.

welcome on board to the site. go to ebay and put in ccw 400 piston and about 30 results will come up. you need too mesure your piston pin to see if you have the 16mm or 18mm. one of the guys on ebay is trout creek sales, i have bought many engine parts and gaskets from him.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have tried that numerous times and have only found pistons for the reed valve engines with the 18mm pin. Mine has the 16mm pin. I can find standard pistons for my engine but no oversized at all. I talked to trout creek sales as a week ago with same result, only available for reed valve engines. Guess I will keep searching, thanks again.
