Looking at doing some custom windshields. Tinted with a very large custom pearl. It is as big as some smaller flake, it will not go through normal paint strainers. Possibly going to do metal flake also. I need to do some testing with the flake and see how it works. Here are some colors that I developed. I could see these going pretty nice on some ole scorps. Here is my test windshield. The owner wanted it smoked! Yes dull I know, but it was a great test. Smoke is also available, just not pictured in the samples as I hadn't done that one yet. More colors possible, but this is probably where I will start.

I didn't notice the first time I saw these pics that you could still see through them. That is really, really cool.
Do you paint both sides or just one side ? If you needed some scorpion windshields to test on, I might have a few I could let you test ;D I get to pic the color and I get them back when done though ;D
I have a custom whip one that I think would look really cool in the sparkle blue :-)

Kevin, The plan is to do the back side. The smoke one is done on both sides. It had some scratches and it was smoke to start with. So, depending on the situation, front/back or both can be done. Oops, I just ran out of blue!

Oops, I just ran out of blue! That's ok. I have a low smoked windshield for a Sting and one for a whip. A red one and a satin-ish black one will be just fine ;-)

And a Scorpion Red Metalflake Windshield! It will happen. I am very happy with the results. I'll be able to do them in any color flake that I have. Speaking of flake, I have a whole truckload (well it just seems like it) being delivered this week! How bout a nice Blue one for Scorp11 Purple also!

Those look mighty purtty. My personal thought is that really short windshields will look really good in flake, especially if they closely match the sled.
For anything a little taller, I actually think the first ones might look better, especially with a little bit a transparency. So, my custom whip wants one of the blue sparkly first ones ;D
