www.ebay.com/itm/321050630779?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITDid you guy's see this parts deal on E-bay. The parts are in Owatonna, just an hour drive for me. It looks like a bunch off tired iron, and you know I love junk ! It is just too much stuff I would never get used or sold, as I am not into vending at swap meets, or e-bay. Plus it sounds like the guy is firm on his price. Now, if the guy would except $900 and 3 or 4 of us were partner up, and divide the parts, it might to fun.

Hey,these parts are worth 4X's what I'm asking for them!!! Oh really. If sleds aren't "his thing",why did he buy them? A quick turn around? I hope he sells them,I would hate to see him waste his time selling on ebay or at swap meets. I wish him luck.

I just hate these adds. We need details on what is there. I hate it when someone has no clue on what it really is they have but they think they got a pot of gold. Okay $2000 for what? Okay its mostly scorpion stuff cool, and its worth 4x what they are asking. yea okay but whats there? I see Items that i know what they are, but good luck with the $2000 from me? More details please. I seen we should do our research in the add? maybe the seller should do that. Would make selling this stuff so much easier as it would be so much easier for the buyer to want to buy it!!!!!!! Weverat and nitroking72 I totaly agree with both your post. I wish i knew whats all there.

Is anyone going to go look at the parts in this listing? I am really interested in what is in there. The guy says if he don't sell them in this auction he will spend the time to go through it and relist parts separately. I think for him that would be the best ideal. Will have to keep a eye on this one.

He wants $2k. Lots of parts for lots of money. But like you said, who knows what all the stuff is? Maybe we can all pool our cash and pay $2k just to get the mufflers so we can cut them open to see what makes them tick!

Wow, lots of replies on this post.
I agree not enough information, firm on price, and I could see nothing special in the pics. I imagine if you were energetic, and wanted to sell parts at swaps etc,
And I did not see any mufflers to cut

I can't remember where I was or what I was doing 5 days ago, but I think this listing has been up for a few months if not 6 months. I've already cut one style muffler open, it's all documented in the kid's sled resto thread that I started...lol

I went back and checked out that thread, and the exhaust project. Did you have a muffler shop flair the pipe?, Did you weld the stainless yourself? I bet it works good, you do very nice work.

The guy needs to drop a zero off his price. $200 looks more fair....

Why is it,these guys think its worth 4 times what they are asking? If he's NOT a SLED guy,how does he KNOW WHAT it is worth. He's a DREAMER! AND then when you buy the parts, you will be lucky to get a SMALL portion of your $$$$ back.If he is serious,a complete list or MORE pictures of it,NOT just a picture of stuff in a box.The way he is doing it,ISN'T GOOD. A GOOD picture,is WORTH a 1,000 words. I don't see any good pictures there.

nitroking72, I agree with you 100%. I wish he would just take all this stuff and bring it to the scorpion reunion and sell it there. But then again that wont happen he dont know what hes got so im sure he would never do that, and its too bad because there might be somethings that some of us may really need for our old scorps. You know rear idler wheels, Bubble nose hinges things that it would be nice if there was some more of them out there.

I don't think any of us can say the price is or isn't fair. We don't know what is there. He probably doesn't either.
Therein lies the problem (if there is a problem as it is his to sell and set a price to)
Obviously buyers are not jumping at the chance to purchase. Is it because it is truly over priced? Not documented properly (ie poor pictures with no real inventory)? or other?
We see this a lot with parts. A couple poor pictures, and a price. If you are close, you can go look. But when you are hours away, that probably isn't going to happen unless enough "good" stuff is seen in the pictures.
I have picked up some good buys from guys like this. Remember there is OBO. LOL

Thats why FOR HIM it would be best to post everything one part at a time on ebay. I wish he would bring it all to the reunion for all of us to pick over. I wish things like this pop up close to home. I would love to go check it out. But I dont like wheeling and dealing I just dont have the time for it.
