Am I missing something? I was at the 2018 homecoming, but have seen no pictures from anyone. Should I put mine up? Is there going to be a homecoming this year (2019)?

You're right Rene! I don't think I want to compete with her! Gary

How many of you remember playing King of the Hill? Do I have any takers?? Gary

Not a chance Rick. I've never seen anything like yours! Gary

Thanks, but I'll admit that I copied Rene... as in 80sting440! I liked his idea! Gary

This is the very spot I painted my cowl a couple months ago. I'm starting to wonder why I was begging for winter!

I saw some camera men during the reunion. Will there be anything put on YouTube for this year??

Thanks sledz! Nice to finally know what year it is. I'm still talking with the guy, but losing hope! Gary

I was at the Arctic cat dealer today, and they couldn't even find an old stock with that size "T" shape. I guess I'll wait for the homecoming to see if anyone has anything different on their sleds. Thanks anyway! Gary

I'm guessing from the silence that no one has tried modifying something like a graphite slide to fit? I was hoping not to re-invent the wheel! Gary

I just replaced my Hyfax with NOS on one Sting, and now the second Sting broke one. This had no mileage on it, and shows no wear, but you can see the cracks. Is there a better type that can be fitted to it? Gary

I just found this Scorpion price list from my parents scrap book. Amazing prices for a new machine shipped to Montana!

It's lucky for me that my parents always bought my clothes too big! I love your metal flake paint. Gary

My wife found me a room on Serpent lake for the reunion. She must want me gone! I also found my 48 year old riding clothes. I wonder if they will still feel as warm as I remember as a teen?? This will be my first reunion. See you all soon!

Good one Rick! Wish I had your shop. My man cave is our two car garage. I can build anything I want, as long as my wife's car has room to stay inside!

Thanks weverat. That makes sense to me. We always used to advance our timing a bit due to the high altitude we ride at, but I'm a bit leery after hearing how easy these burn pistons. Gary

I found one link to a Cuyuna engine manual that doesn't come up, so I've been using the older JLO 440 manual. It gives timing as .083 to .102 before top center. The specs on my tool box cover say to set it at .110. Does this sound right to you "in the know" people? For now I just used the timing marks on the flywheel. Gary

That was pretty rough. I don't know that I have that much ambition! It's nice that we don't have rust problems in Montana. Gary

I think sledrat is correct. I offered the guy my good running Sting in trade, but now he says he wants his grand daughter to learn on this old one first. After looking closer, I think it's about a 1967. I never give up though! I sure wanted to bring this to the reunion.

The only bad thing about the above pictures are that it makes my clean find seem like almost a wreck!!
